Friday Post
It's going to be a long Friday night. The clock strikes
12, signifying a new day. Saturday. The mood appears to be random, after a long haul of a week. Tireness. Lethargy. The feelings are no longer there to accompany me. These buggers had been lingering for the past 6 months, and all that is left is just a tingling sense of numbness. A part of me urge to ride on the surge wave of excitement, rising high, before going down again. There's always ups and downs in life. And I can say I'm staying quite flat down for some time. I start to wonder if it is just a matter of time before I get myself up or, I'll just stay down low. Afterall, what matters most is not how many times you've fallen, but it is how many times you've risen up. The sudden sense of drowsiness fades my visions, and I could be lost in time and space. And somehow, it all came back to me now, at least for a moment. If only I could grab this moment and make it stay, I could only be recovering from this 'shock'. As usual, only time will tell.Sometimes, the deprivation of love could make you
feel lonely. It's not just about a boy-girl puppy love, but rather as a whole. Friendship, family, and anything you could think of. Maybe it's this deprivation that had made me lose my cause in the first place afterall. The friends are all so far, I've been neglecting my parents much due to studies, and, I think I'd almost forgot how does a warm cozy hug feels like, or how the lips of another human being taste like. The moments when we had to run for cover under the rain, the fireworks on Valentine's day, etc. Each 'love' relationship always has its own romantic moments. However, after a year being a 'vegetarian', you just tend to remain so under the name of HABIT. It's just so hard to accept another someone into your life, that is. Or maybe the special someone has not appear, or maybe it has always been there without me realizing it.I'd been watching, and the Law of Attraction has always
work its way amongst us. A relationship can basically be divided into 3 phases, approximately 6 months each. The first 6 months had always been fresh love, being the intimate phase. The couple could be glued together by an invisible force of attraction so great that I doubt a Tsunami could break them up. Every month 'anniversary', all the places they go, everything will be charted in the Book of Death. The next phase gradually appears as it becomes a... relationship phase. The intimate part has faded long before they realise it, and all they have is basically... a relationship. It is something that holds them together. The attractive force is somehow balanced by the repulsive force of a similar amount, holding true to Newton's 3rd Law, which is, for every force exerted by an object, there is an opposite force of the same magnitude acting on the object. This will lead to the next phase, which become the annoying stage. Arguments arise, cold war starts, and any possible catastrophy, you name it, you got it. The fact that both had been together for so long had cause annoyance, at least for 1 side, at least when they have been too close together. Of course, if both hadn't been together for so often, for example, due to long distance relationship, it will slow down all the phases because the 'contact time' is lesser. However, most of the time, those extremely long distance relationships (inter-country) cause 'slowness' which made the relationship to cease to exist. It become stagnant. So, either way, the last phase is the first major test of a couple. Compatibility strikes in as we don't live with people we can't live without, but we live with people who we can live with. The repulsive force is so strong that only the compatibility attraction force could pull them back. And that will be the final decisive state. And for sure, there are variation in the time course due to many factors. The closer both are to each other, the process could be accelerated. This is just an example afterall.
By now, I'd read Wai Sun's (aka Jack) blog. It's sometimes
quite true about what he'd said. We are not just attracted to the beauty on the first impression. Sometimes, it's just a moment of beauty you see on someone else, be it a day, an hour, a minute, a milisecond,or a nanosecond, expecially when that someone smiles. That will stay in your mind and leave a mark so great that you wouldn't notice until your heart starts to race. *wink* So guys or girls, smile more often. You'll never know who will be charmed by your smile!I've been gaining some heavy weight lately. The scale
tipped slightly over 79kg. So, I'd made a resolution to control my weight and to turn the extra few pounds to muscle mass. Been jogging on alternate days since last week, and it is starting to show its effects. It improves my endurance, and my cardiorespiratory system has up side as well. The days in between are used for stretching, push-ups, sit-ups, crunches, and a few more exercises, but so far, there's no obvious progress yet. Guess I'll have to work harder for another 3 months at least. Consistency will persevere afterall. Let's just hope I'll be able to make through it. X'D
It's now 1am. It takes me quite some time to type
this, and I'm ready to doze off. Watched Fantastic Four this evening with Wai Sun. 2 guys, no girls..haha.. And Daytona, Basketball and Time Crisis 4 was the starter at Times Square. Guess I'll need to relax and take life easy. Afterall, it takes a man to admit his own mistakes and limitations. Good night.
