100th Post -Special Edition

Bless the Broken Road - Rascal Flatts

I set out on a narrow way, many years ago
Hoping I would find true love along the broken road
But I got lost a time or two
Wiped my brow and kept pushing through
I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you

[ Chorus: ]
Every long lost dream
Lead me to where you are
Others who broke my heart
They were like northern stars
Pointing me on my way
Into your loving arms
This much I know is true
That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you.

I think about the years I spent
just passing through
I'd like to have the time I lost
and give it back to you
but you just smile and take my hand
You been there, you understand
It's all part of a grander plan
that is coming true.

[ Chorus ]

Now I'm just rolling home
into my lovers arms
this much i know is true
that God blessed the broken road
that led me straight to you
That god blessed the broken road
that led me straight to you

Special thanks to the contributors to this meaningful song, including those who had introduced it to me. You know who you are. Thanks.

To be frank, this is my 100th post in this blog. Special thanks to all fellow bloggers and non-bloggers who are here with me reading this blog. When I started this, I'd never thought I'd reach the 100 mark. And now, seeing is believing. Thanks again, and enjoy the song.

First Day!!!

Let me start off with a low note today. It's been a week off here,
and of course, nothing much can happen in a week. I've toyed around Yahoo! Answers lately, and it seems to be an interesting place to explore. I got to flex my brain muscles on Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and you name it, you got it. All thanks to Dekan Jeff who got me interested in this when he showed me some topics relating to men's health. Of course, I didn't linger much around there, because there's so many other interesting topics. I found that I could also apply my knowledge on medicine, Hehe...
Yesterday was my first day of work with Dad. Went to
Souled Out Restaurant in Sri Hartamas to do some audit work. We weren't doing for that restaurant, but for another restaurant under the same management, SevenAteNine at Jalan Pinang, near KLCC. And me, as the puncher boy!! Anything that need to be filed, will go through my skillfull hands. Those documents that Dad needs, will have two holes punched in no time, all thanks to my training of punching through my compilation of lecture notes. Of course, I get to do some Bank Recon checking and also some general expenses. It's been quite some time since I've been in touch with figures, and everything seems to come back as I follow the procedures step by step. This was no easy meat, by the looks of the accounts. But nevertheless, I'm just the aid who 'knows' how Dad works through his system. Lolz..

Documents documents documents

All of these just to get the job done

Enough said. Anything more is private and confidential. Basically,
Sri Hartamas was supposed to be the next 'in-thing' area. Gone were the days where SS2 was the place. Even Wangsa Maju have places like SS2, just in a slightly smaller scale. Sri Hartamas was supposed to cater for the upper middle class, and everything there is much expensive than you would expect. But, since this is KL area, there's no fret. And Souled Out was one of the hot-spots restaurant in the area. Maybe it's the atmosphere, or perhaps, it's the concept. I wouldn't prefer The Curve for its lack of ventilation, but Sri Hartamas always seem classier than most places. I wonder if I could afford it even if I burn multiple holes in my pockets. Lolz.. Maybe next time I would post some pictures of the place. But for now, I will show u one of the interesting idea I've discovered yesterday.

A creative way to put it.

P.S. And a good aim

What the Rich, the Poor, and the Middle-class buy on Pay Day.

There are many theories why the rich becomes rich, or the
poor becomes poor. Some say, it is in their blood. Some say, the rich have the divine blessings of the God. And even some argued that, they just got lucky. Either way, it will still be hard to maintain that large amount of wealth, if you're just lucky, or you need constant God blessing. Maybe that's why those rich men attend church every Sunday? No matter what you think, God plays no part in the difference in wealth accumulation. These are worldly things, if you'd remember. If it's true that God favor the rich, then those poorer (relatively) should buck up and repent. Just kidding.

If that's your God, I would suggest you to find a new one. X'D

Finished with the introduction, maybe we should proceed
to the real topic of the day. This is one of the interesting theory I'd saw somewhere on the internet. What you will read may be partially true, as there is no one single factor which determines wealth accumulation. Therefore, viewer discretion is advised. A financial advisor's (preferably not parents) guidance is advisable.

First thing first, we need to redefine our terminology and concepts in these topic. There are few words has been redefined in this sense. So, scroll down and have a look.

Income - Any money that you receive, whether it is for a job done, or goods sold.
Expenses - Any money you fork out to pay something, or you pay someone

Asset - Anything that helps you to generate more money periodically
Liability - Anything that costs you more money (you pay out more) periodically

Now, I realised that the asset and liability has been
redefined and may confuse those having accounting knowledge especially. But, this is just a term used to explain the things I would jot down later. So in this case, anything you own may not be an asset. A house you are staying in is not necessarily an asset, because you may have to pay for home loans, maintenance, eg. and you are not receiving any money from it. A house you rented out is an asset, because you receive money for renting it out. A car will always be a car, which is a liability, because you have to pay for its maintenance, car loans, and the most importantly, it has a depreciation value, unlike a house, which you can argue having an appreciation value. Of course, if you are doing car-renting business, that is a totally different story. Thus, a boat is also a liability.

On a side note, a girlfriend tends to be a liability too. A wife, on
the other hand, can be an asset or a liability, depending on what have you chosen. (Singaporean girls tend to have a higher maintenance cost)

Okay, so at the first day of the month, I'm sure every employee
will look forward to this day. This day makes all the employees happy, including your parents. Well, unless your parents are employers, which can make them sad... It's Pay Day!! How would we, as humans, tend to spend our money? There are generally 3 groups of spenders. The rich, the poor, and the middle-class.

Let's start with The POOR. On payday, the poor receives
INCOME. While this income may not be much, they put it in EXPENSES. Apart from basic stuff like food, they also buy unneccesary stuff like in garage sales. Yes, they may argue that these does not cost much, but little by little, it all adds up to one large amount. "Sikit-sikit lama-lama jadi bukit" or "Sehari seanyam benang, lama-lama menjadi kain."

Tracing back to the Malaysian society, the typical EXPENSES we observe are clothes (yes, necessities become uneccesary if you have more than needed, or if you're buying too many branded items), luxury food (once in a while is nice, but spending all your parents money all the time on such stuff?), handphones (I admit me too), car accesories, cute dolls, and many more. The poor may have savings, but in the end, those saving are still used on EXPENSES. In the end, the balance sheet will look like this:

INCOME = EXPENSES

What about the Middle Class then? Now, middle class
people tends to be professionals. Be it accountants, engineers, doctors, lawyers. These are the groups that tend to be perceived as more well off. The poor envy them, because they lead a better life, or it may seem. The middle class are smarter in the sense that they may not spend all on EXPENSES, and have savings. While they can have savings, they spend it on cars, boats, or a bigger house to stay. These money are actually spent on LIABILITIES, because they make you pay more periodically. This, in the end, also indirectly leads to a higher and higher EXPENSES without them actually realising it.

Therefore, while they tend to be 'better' off, they do not
have much money. Once they are incapable of earning money via their skills trade-off, they have nothing much to rely on except their savings. Some may be able to sustain their life through savings, and some may not, especially when your hyena children are eyeing on your savings and by all means try to make you fork out your savings. Thus:

INCOME = EXPENSES(increases over time due to liabilities) + LIABILITIES

A hot gf and a car like this? You'll get a nosebleed frequently. They are liabilities

As their income are generally constant, (does not increase
exponentially, and working for a company as an emplyee) the increase in EXPENSES may be able to kill them if not carefully taken care of. This is the irony of all professionals.

And lastly, we have THE RICH. What I'm describing
the 'rich' here is their mentality, and the description depicts them when they are still uprising. What do the rich buy on payday? While they are still human, they still have EXPENSES. But, just like the middle class, they have savings. This is where the 'something in common' stops. The rich spend their on ASSETS. Something that would create more money. It may be a house to rent it out or just a pinball machine. With these ASSETS, their INCOME expand by time, increasing their spending power. Once they have more INCOME, they buy more ASSETS. And ASSETS gets more INCOME. This healthy feedback will make them rich in time. Thus:

INCOME = ASSET acquisition = more INCOME = more ASSET (Continuous cycle)

Don't believe me? I'll quote a person for example. Warren
Buffet, the 3rd richest man in the world.(As of April 2007 - current net worth U$ 52 billion, by Forbes)

When he was 15 years old, he and a friend bought a pinball
machine for $25, which they placed in a barber shop. While he is free to tend to his own things, the machines generates profit. With this money, one would expect him to buy a luxury item. Bet most of you will go and buy the most expensive and trendy handphone. Instead, he used the money to get more pinball machines!! Within months, they have 3 pinball machines in 3 different locations. And we were all still parasites when we were 15. -.-"

Warren Buffet

Born: Aug 30th, 1930

Again, Warren Buffet is a special person. He's 76 going
to 77 this year. He's famous for being unpretentious and fugral (careful and thrifty). Just as quoted by Wikipedia, when he spent U$ 9.7 million of Berkshire's (his company) fund on a corporate jet, he named it The Indefensible. Reason? He had been critising past CEOs for such purchases. X'D. He lived in the same house he had since he was 28, bought at U$ 31,800 at that time. Bet many of you would have change houses more than now you change handphones if you'd that much of money eh?

I'm not trying to show how to be rich. It's just that many
people blame others for their own doings. Perhaps, because of this attitude, many could not escape the wrath of rat race. The rich gets richer, and the poor gets poorer. But being rich is not neccesarily happy, so just strike a balance. I'll prefer to advise everyone to spend wisely than how to make money. Besides, I'm not rich yet. And far from being one. And the last one, get a wife who can be an ASSET, not just for her assets. X'D
END OF LESSON

P.S. Just don't take this too seriously. It's meant for light reading actually, but guess I might have gone overboard. For more reading on Warren Buffet, here's the link to Wikipedia:

Candle flame

And here I am, alone, in the middle of the night. I could only hear the wind gushing outside. Forgive me for the lacklustreness, for I am just a simple man. With words that could remind us of what we were when we were still kids. What is my path of destiny? What will be of me? Will I remain true to what my beliefs at this very moment? Would I be someone I'd hate so much to become? What will be the end of me? Lost in eternal blackness? Or would I be given a second chance to start all over again? All these questions remain unanswered after all these years. And yet, I am just a mere human. What I can achieve, fades with time, just like the foot prints on the beach, being washed instantly just as they are made. What could I do to etch a mark so deep in the hearts of mankind, at least, if not for the dinosaurkind or any other species that would replace mankind? Nothing. And forget about crucification. It works only once.
Sunrise signifies the birth of a new hope. Or that is what
it would seem to be. A new dusk, a new day. Light is good, dark is evil. That is what we had been made into believe all these while. But could it really be a deception? What if Dark is good and light is evil. What if evil is not evil and goodness is not goodness? Crap. Elaborate a bit more and the religious people are going to burn me alive for blasphemy. But the fact is, it is just a tool to distinguish one another. What may seem righteous to one could seem evil to the other. In the end, the world is just plain grey. No one is right, and no one is wrong. What we follow are the norms. The acceptable norms. We can't kill another humans, but is the act of slaughtering other animals deemed acceptable? And please, this is just a discussion. I'm not trying to convince anyone to be a vegan. But could it be possible that what we are trying to imply is that animals are a lower caste below us? How sure are we? Let's ponder upon this. Humans are the only creatures who would kill one another, basically not for survival. Humans are the only creatures destroying earth, threatening the existence of life. Wouldn't we be the lower caste instead. Oh animals!! Eat us instead!! I'm just kidding. Again, I'm not trying to goad anyone into being an environmentalist.
Even here, I could discuss about the 'righteousness'
of human. Is Saddam's dictatorship a bad example? Giving the fact that he's handling a group of rogues and barbarian-like people, could he be more appropriate, other than using force against force. At least, he managed to maintain the stability although you can say that it's a fake one. And here we can see the US trying to restore 'stability', having their gluteus maximus all screwed up, causing more panic and disturbances. And on an unrelated discussion, was communism that bad afterall? China managed to hold itself together and prosper as it is today, without foreign intervention. Had China been practising democracy right from the start, we could see China as a 2nd Russia, being poverty-striken as it is now.
So, the point is, everything is not clear-cut as we
were taught from young. In fact, nothing is. What we need to do is to step into anothe pair of shoes, and think from another perspective. But then again, we are just humans. If we are able to empathise, there wouldn't be any Crusades. We are lowly creatures lower than animals. We could only think of ourselves, struggling for the show of power. And yet, we could only ponder upon why men are blind or women are deaf. Perhaps, when mankind is more noble than other creatures, that is when pigs can fly or cats can swim.

Home Alone

Well, that sums it. Another vacation at home. Woke up at 5.30am so that I could greet my parents a safe trip. While they are enjoying the best "Siu Long Pau" in Shang Hai, here I am fasting to gain a not so ideal body weight. Went to TARC this morning, catching up with some lecturers. Mr Lee Huong Sing had left TARC due to a sudden "retirement". Wonder what shit he had done. Hooray anyway. Mdm Khoo, my Maths T1 lecturer is going to retire this thursday. Sob.. Guess there's going to be more and more lecturers retiring. And this year's STPM intake is very low, amounting to around 100 students for Science, I heard. At my time, it was 200+. Let's just hope there's more attention for the students. My secondary school juniors are going to enter TARC STPM too. Too many of them compared to my time. Yip, Sita, Elaine, Jun Yew, nicholas and many more. Perhaps there's around 10 of them, most of them in 8S2A (Scholarship class) while a few in 8S1A. Wish them luck and enjoying their time there. Hehe..

. So, what have I done lately? DOTA!!! Been serving as a super noob, getting slaughtered every now and then. But at least I start to be able to kill heroes in BlueServer, and my score is not always the lowest. n_n" Or maybe it's because there are more noobs in BS. Guess I'll never know, cos I always join the newbies game and not the pro. Scare later they blame me for feeding the enemy fat fat. Lolz..

. Results are going to be out soon. Wondering whether I have to resit or not. Hmmph... Feel like changing course without doubt. Sien..Everyday like that will make me a worse person than ever. Perhaps that's why they say this course is dehumanizing. By the way, am I a human? Let's proceed to the next topic then. this is getting far too boring. Wish I could take some cadaver pics and post it here.

. The next topic is....no topic. Running out of steam of writing. Just let me relax and enjoy this 1 week. Until then, don't bother to visit my blog cos it's gonna be empty!!

BYE!!!

Self- Reflection for the '06/'07 Session

Self-reflection is something I always do every morning
and every night without fail. Yes. To look at that handsome face in the mirror. Wonder in awe how such a masterpiece lives in me. Is this what they call self-reflection? I guess so... Because you can't deny that it is a reflection of my self. So, have I choke you? I must be great to be able to do that. Then only will I be able to treat hematemesis(vomiting blood) from u guys.

Enough with the ice-breaker. Guess I should proceed
with the main topic. What have I done for my first year in UKM Medic 1st year?

1) Becoming a first year Medical Student (MS)

2) Seing so many foreigners in my home state, some who always claim that their homeplace is the best, not realising that it's just because they got used to it. But I guess that made up for their shallow knowledge and experience. I may not be that good either, but I am merely an observer to comment what happened generally.

3) Being able to lose so many things in one year from handphone; MP4 player; a bag with 3 Pharmacology books, pencil case with loads of stationery, car keys and house keys; 2 1GB minifun thumbdrive; name tag; lab keys; 3 Pilot shaker mechanical pencils worth around RM8 each; and many tiny little things.

4) Went to EAMSC (East Asia Medical Student Conference) in Taiwan. Man, that was really an unforgetable experience. I rather go more on such conference trips or free and easy than following those travel and tours trip. Those are money-making trips for people to claim that they have been to a certain country without the need to actually know the country. As a matter of fact, my parents will be going to China tomorrow without me. So, I'll be home alone for a week. Weeee....

5) Managed to play chess in UKM, getting a Silver in the team event. My skill was rusty for 3 years and there's a Silver for it? That is so much sweeter, since I'd never done well well in a team event. Not really that I lost my matches, just that I don't have regular teamates every year in secondary school.

6) Became the inaugural Flirt King in UKM 1st year medical student. I also got a job as the Head of Dept of Flirtology in Faculty of Paktorlogy, UKM.

7) Acted and directed many sketches for Personal and Professional Development assignments. Guess we should be given a double degree of Medicine and Mass Comm.

8) Gotten so many B's in my studies. Ironic, but it actually resembles my true ability. Glad for that.

9) First time staying up late at night for exam. It was for the end sem OSPE where I'd to digest all 4 modules' practicals in about 7 hours time. There was a PPD exam the day beofre till 4pm, so started on full gear at 8pm. That was also the first time I'd mixed 3 tablespoon of Nescafe into my drink to spike it. I also took an antihistamine(Clarinase) not for its effect, but the Pseudoephedrine (nasal vessel constrictor) for its neurostimulating effect. Great, now I'm doing drugs.

10) Gotten 3 parking tickets from DBKL, because they were too poor. Up to this day, the DBKL people has greatly improved. They can finish 100 metres of summonse within 5 minutes, and their handwritings are much better than mine. Lolz..

11) Became the group leader(more of an office boy) for PBL 18 in first semester. It's still the best PBL group, although it may not be as dynamic as my second PBL group 5.

12) Touching prosected cadaver with bare hands without hesitating. OSPE provide no gloves, and the cloth beside the table make it hard to 'feel' if you want to use it. Spongy arteries, collapsing veins, solid nerve cords, etc.

13) Found out that my brain cells are log-killed from the start of the exam till the end of it. Casualties were from log 2 on the 1st day to log 16 on the last. The creative side of my brain is dying as well, if it has not been degenerating due to atrophy.

14) Found out that I have great story-telling ability which I practised in my essay during exams.

Ouch, by the end of this, my head aches. Can't use too much
recalling. they say the path is clear when you make a step. But I am much more confused than before. I ought to gslog hard, but for no apparent reason? I might as well heading for doom.

*The End*

Another Bunny Post

Basically, this has been my second costume. A disaster
because I was trying to be lazy. In the end, I worked more because of the repair stitches I had to do. So, tears would drop looking at this 'slavepiece'. Haiz.. I am totally speechless. Let my photos of it do the talking.

If the previous one could get an A for my stitching standards (B+ for my evaluation), this would get a C+. Guess I'll take a break when my patience is back so that I could give in more effort.

Project Bunny

Hello, baby!! Bunny's back. It's been a hobby project for some time now. So I'll show the progress so far. Not perfect, but at least it's still plausible.

How bout some jacuzzi?

The first step is to get the bunny to bath. This was done last week and being hanged upside down for a few days because I'd forgotten about him. Sorry!! Secondly, it's pre-clothes time. Time to sharpen the rusty needle...

A clean underwear. What do you expect?

The underside of the underwear. It's not a sarong like I'd made few years back.

Decoration of the undies. Many many loves.. Just like one of my undies.

Muahaha..Jz kidding, don't look so surprised.

And time for the first official project completed:

DR BUNNY!!!

Lateral view of Dr Bunny in white coat. Observe the side 'parting' of the white coat just like the real thingie.

Anterior view of Dr Bunny. He looks way cooler than I'd imagined in a white coat.

Closer view. A button and 3 functional pockets (not dummies)

Dr Bunny in a modelling shootout. COOL!!!

In conclusion, Yee Ming is a whacky person. Stay away from him if possible. *End of Story*

P.S: But then, give a clap for such a nice art work. n_n"

Black is coffee!!

Hey guys, I'm back here!! This is one special post actually.
Dedicated to my TARC junior (perhaps ex-jr?) also a.k.a Science and Maths Society Secretary --> Yvonne!! Was planning to go back home from Times Square when I decided to drop by Maluri Jusco. (Okay, different way, but trust me, I'm more used to the road from Times Square to Cheras than to my own home *wink*) It was around 3.15pm, tea-time I supposed.. Jeng jeng..here's the pic which she's gonna KILL me for posting it here. Somebody, STOP me!! Hehe.. (P.S. You're the one complaining the lack of pics here, so I figured to put your photos here n_n")

Welcome to Starbucks!!
(A bit blur pic cos was trying to take a quick shot)

Attending a customer --> Expert Yvonne on the move!!

In fact, she made a Banana Javachips Frappucino Blended
Coffee just for me F.O.C.! How often would I get them. Feel malu la, wanna pay but she's the cashier, can't force a cashier, later people think I'm robbing!! Promise to belanja you next time k!! Anyway, just a bit of comment, the JFBC abbrv looked more like JBFC(Johor Bharu Football Club) to me..n_n"

Specially blended from Yvonne in cute green uniform!!

There's a 'YM' on top. See it?

See the light on top of her head? Don't be surprised, she's got a halo!!

Angelic!! n_n"

Then they had a coffee tasting session. Well, the coffee tasted
like... coffee. The first step in tasting is to smell it with a hand clasping 3 quarter of the mouth of the cup, like something you would do while sniffing durian. n_n" Then slurp it so you could distribute it evenly on the tongue? Seriously, I thought there was problem with my tongue when I only tasted the bitterness at the middle back of the tongue (Posterior-medially), cos usually I'll taste bitterness everywhere whenever I'm having bittergourd soup. Haha... By the way, let me try to recall what I heard. It's a Caffe Verona, 80% Yukon Blend, 20% Italian Roast, a romantic coffee usually for Valentine's Day, goes better with chocolate cookies or caramel. Personally, I think it goes good with anything chocolate! Tasted better than the usual Mocha I would have ordered. Otherwise, it would be bitter like a typical coffee (means biasa aje la...like Yvonne said.. hehe), perhaps with a slight blend of unique taste. Maybe that's why this coffee is so 'romantic'. Love is like coffee. It keeps you awake. It keeps you motivated. It's bitter, yet everyone loves it. Before you try it, you won't crave for it. The more you have it, the more you're addicted. Even when it's gone, the taste still lingers around, until you find another replacement. And lastly, without it, u'll die, with it, u'll also slowly die.. Lol...
Had some chat there, and seems like she's really
having fun there. She IS having FUN actually. Seem a long time haven't see her. But then, she's still the same fantastic and jovial person. Or I haven't seen the other side? Hehe... Oh yeah, sorry if ter'kacaui'ng you cos made you break 'overtime'. -.-" All the best, Perhaps we shall meet another time soon.
P.S. Oh ya, the Banana JFBC tastes fantastic. With that amount of coffee and banana, I feel like monkeying around all night long!! *wink*

Golden rules to reach out to a girl.

I was browsing through aaron's blog about the golden
rules to call a girl. Yeah, it was kinda striken true when you see a guy got overexcited and boasted to his friends that he got a girl's number. Two things could possibly happen from here on for him: He got dumped not long right after, failing in his attempt; or he will get along if the girl is a mad desperado craving for attention. Either way, it spells DISASTER. But nevermind, everyone goes through this learning phase, and even me myself had humble beginnings. It just happened that I grew faster, considering that I had overshot to be the Flirt King in UKM Medic Fac of the First Years and the Head of Dept of Flirtology of Faculty of Paktorlogy UKM. To be frank, it's nothing of a true flirt. It's just the essence of flirting put together to build relationships with friends without being a true playboy or Casanova. I guess it wouldn't hurt anyway.

So, those who haven't had a clue of the article I
mentioned above just now, kindly refer to the Aaron Sim blog by the blog links I'd refer you to. Heck, I'm promoting other people's blog because I'm just too lazy to plagiarize everything. Credits to him though. He made me think of those countless futile attempts of mine before the enlightenment came. And here's the summary along with the comments of it.

Keep your conversations short.
Whether you are a busy attorney as pictured by Sandy Cohen or you are just bumming around, you would want to consider giving her an impression that you do lead a full active life. Keeping your initial conversation brief, well spoken and give her the right attention when she speaks, it gives her the impression you are in demand by your surroundings. Ending the conversation before it runs dry also tells her that you know how to keep things in control and leave her looking at your cellphone for more of your calls. A day breaker for her when she receives your call.

Comment: That's kind of true. The fact is, a human's attention span is very short, perhaps for the first 5 minutes. However, the "well spoken" part might be subjective to different people. No girl really wants a gentleman talk, because there's dozens of them talking to her the same way as you did everyday. Just be natural, don't pretend to be someone else and crack a joke or two. Personally, I would like to be cocky and funny as my 'master' said, but I'd prefer sticking to my own lame jokes. Develop your own style. Get her attention, and then leave with it. This goes with a BANG, and you've got the right spot. The key: Be confident and natural. Females can sense fear like hound dogs. It doesn't really matter if you're short, poor, or not as handsome as me,*wink* but if you got the confidence, you win. I would have a list to teach you so, but I'd reserve that as my teaching materials in my faculty.

Say Bye with a high note
No I’m not asking to say bye as in bye~~ like Pavarotti does. I’m saying before you end your conversation, make an effort to leave a positive note. Be it a good joke or an encouragement. She would always remember the last thing you said on the phone. Leave her a ’smiling’ tone as you say goodbye and she is more likely to want to speak to you again.

Comment: You can call it a smiling tone, I call it confidence. Don't act like a wussy telling her how you wouldn't let go of her in a depressed manner. You'll scare her more than you intend to. But there's always exceptions for everything. You can tell her how you will miss her when you're not busy, in a jovial, light tone. No serious tone please, especially on the first few calls.

Think & Have A Purpose
I cannot fully explain to you this. Whatever it is make sure you prepare yourself before you make a phone call. Be sure to know what tone to use, when to leave a message, what time of the day to call and so fourth. Of course don’t simply just start to ask her out immedietly and don’t beat around the bush for long either. Have a purpose for your call and make it short, sweet and simple.

Comment: Practice makes perfect. No serious or sober tone. It's just instinct. But be sure for one thing. Don't make it a routine to call her. Be unpredictable. This creates tension around you. If you're a natural, you wouldn't realise it because you're too occupied with your daily tasks and job. This sends her the message that she's not the top priority, and you've got better things to do than just looking for her. This makes you stand out as a non-wussy like most guys that she had ever met.

Positivity
Women might have a soft spot to be nice listeners and symphatise on your gloomy day. But the truth is, she probably won’t stick around if you are all about gloom and constantly emitting negative charges. It doesn’t matter if your boss is a jackass but complaints are a real turnoff for another woman especially when they had a bad day too and they want you to listen. Once you started all out, she would feel reluctant to share hers since she thinks it might make your day bad. This would make you look needy. So avoid it if possible. Be a man. Do the right thing - Russell Peters.

Comment: Look, I know most of you always think that opposite attracts. But this is not the case here. This will cause lightning which would be lethal if it strikes you. The fact is, no one really likes gloomy people. This makes them unattractive. You might be able to tolerate gloominess at first, but imagine doing this for the rest of your life. Create a balance, I would preferably say, because no one can be postive all the time though. Just don't dominate and let the other person talk to you too. This is called communication skills.

Leaving a message and phone calls
Get this right. Firstly you should avoid leaving messages on the first call. You cannot get yourself under her radar by having her to find out there are 20 miscalls and 9 voice messages and don’t try to test her radar capability by calling from an unknown number to see if she is there or not.
If she doesn’t answer, hang up. Call back later. On you second call, if there still isn’t an answer, leave a message and leave it in a coherent and positive tone. Don’t leave long rambling messages on her voicemail. You see, if you message turns out to be the first message, it could potentially be played back and analyzed several times over. Tone and choice of wording play a key role. Identify yourself, leave a phone number or some way she could reach you back if she fails to reach you on your cellphone. Don’t just go ” hey it’s me”
Call her at the right time. She would not be too respective on your phone call if she is among her friends or co-workers or even her boss. Avoid calls on Saturday nights.

Comment: Well, there's hardly leaving a message in Malaysia. SMS her then. If she does have one, don't ever try to mess with it. There's no need for playbacks. A female can sense it if you're being confident or not from the first hearing. Keep out of radar as been mentioned. If there's ever a female doing playnacks, she must be too interested in you. But then again, I would advise you to stay away from her for she might be a potential stalker. Leave her an SMS, and wait till she reply. There's no need to bombard her with SMSes. You wouldn't want to look like a desperate wussy, which will send an immediate SOS to her of "Keep a distance from this guy". One SMS is much more effective than "more than one". To me, it doesn't really matter if you say "Hey, it's me" if you say it in a light tone. Don't sound sober and you're all right. Don't get too long on the phone anyway, for telephone bills are expensive (unless you're separated by distance, overseas for example) and mobile phones have radiation. Get face to face preferably, but that would be another lesson altogether.

P.S. Females don't like weakness and insecurity in men.

With here, I end a sample session, and kindly register
to the Fac of Paktorlogy UKM if you're interested to know more. Just kidding. No admission for non-coursemates. Hehe..

Stress Peak

The reason I am here when I'm supposed to be studying for
the Infection and Immunity module and Medicine and Society module is because I'm quite stressed. Reason? Because I wasn't stressed. Weird huh? I'm getting worried because I'm not worried about the exams. Why am I not? I might have done badly in today's musculoskeletal, but I wasn't really bother about it. Even the last module ( Musculoskeletal) results of an A- which were posted today along with NAMES (when it was only ID number usually) does not excite me nor disappoint me. It's like a guy not feeling a thing when he's reading erotic stuff. What the heck... And today's exam, is just a comedy of errors.
Imagine this: A guy grabbing his ass while moving
his right thigh up, right, down, and left, in hope of searching for the muscle involved in lateral rotation. In the end, he still got it wrong when he confused himself with abduction and adduction of hip, which leads to another mistake in the OMR, with many more to go.
Or another scenario here: A guy trying to feel for his pulses
behind his right knee, or the medial side of his ankle, and the dorsum of his foot. And the last part, he was caught in the act searching for the femoral pulse in the mid-inguinal area, looking as if he was scratching his groin from the view of the girl coursemate on his left. And the list goes on and on, never failing to humor anyone who heard about it. Pathetic...
Away from the topic, UKM has selected its
own chess team representatives for the MASUM in USM. Sadly, I wasn't in. So, I get more holiday at home. Lye Fen got called though. Wish her all the best. The spiritual support will come from the heart. n_n"
And about my plans for the holidays. Looks like
there's nothing much for me to do. Plan to eat and sleep. Please kindly invite me if anyone is free. I'm more than willing to go if I'm free( which would be almost all the time). Anyway, there's a major announcement here. I'm planning to revive PROJECT BUNNY!!! I'll be putting the pics up when I'm done with the project. It will be my 1st holiday project so far, apart from trying to watch Spiderman 3 in the cinema. ( Anyone haven't watch can ajak me eh..) K la, I'll stop being dreamy and realistic. Exam will all be over in a matter of few days. Around 5 days I guess. Wish me all the best. G*d bless.
