Yes, YouthSays organized an event in PWTC, supposedly for the youth, from 9th-11th Jan 2008. In a way, it is good since such events are rare in Malaysia. So my dear and I decided to have a look.

We were greeted at the booth where entry is free, but they'd insist on a stamp chop on your hand. We'd passed on our preevent pass which was supposed to claim some goodies bags. Unfortunately, the promises were empty, just like YouthSays surveys, as they ran out of it despite having to give it to every preevent pass holder. Furthermore, the receptionists were always seemingly busy despite having 3-4 visitors at the booth at a time. Their rudeness and cold reception is what to be expected from the youth of Malaysia, it seems? A closeup look at the 10-men team at the receptionist revealed that they were more busy on facebooking and doing some trivial stuff, confirming that it is all an act of business. Despite that, we proceed to look at the events as they are the main attractions and not the receptionists.

The age range of youth must have been lowered as we'd seen primary schoolers hanging around too. Never mind though since it must have attracted a family outing here. Here we can see a media member from some EduTV interviewing a very young kid on the experience there. I'd to keep check in mind though, that youth can be as low as 8 years old and as old as 45 years old as claimed by politicians. I guess those politicians must be young at heart to be called youth at 40. :P
There are quite some activities going on inside, so I'd let the pictures do the talking.
"Rock-climbing" session
The reptile attraction causes some uneasiness among passer-bys, though I'm still imagining how a warm a good bowl of reptile soup can taste.
A good scorpion fight!! Wait, is scorpion a reptile? :P
A caged futsal for futsal lovers. Sometimes this cages gives me the feeling of being inside of the zoo, watched by spectators from the outside.
Battle of the bands, which I must admit the music was kinda good, although they lack a rock chick, or at least a decent vocal rock artist.
Basketball 3-on-3 challenge with all age-group playing their hearts out while the losers were crying and whining at the background. :P
KL Menjerit Kesedihan, with the modification expo, sporting some modified cars with much distaste. Ewgh.. I never really like such cars.
Now this is a car I don't mind, especially if it's the prancing horse.
It seems like someone did not practise before coming here.
Here's a flashback of the graffiti in the main entrance, better looking than those insides.
Another masterpiece at the entrance
And here is a sign of sclerodactyly (clawed hand), perhaps a feature of a patient with scleroderma. (Oops, medical terms here)
A wall of art behind, with a handsome hunk in front. Don't mind the narcissism, I'm in a mess to dress up properly today.
Animax Cosplay which accentuates the beliefs that otakus are nerds and weirdos and unpopular in life. The cosplays have improved over the few years in Malaysia, but the peeps have not.
Is this Sailor Mars? I guess Sailormoon series is no longer one of my favourite manga series from now on.
After a long day out, it was time to call it a day. The events were rather entertaining and became an eye opener of such amusement. Overall, I'll give it a 3/5 because of the last scenery I'd saw before I left.
A beautiful day for a sketch art, which I regrettably note that I am artistically challenged to produce a masterpiece of such. All I can do is to capture the moments in digital :P
We went to The Mall for lunch(3pm) at McD. Before leaving home, we'd saw an interesting business gimmick.
Buy 1 (left) shoe Free 1 (Right) shoe
Since when do we buy only 1 side of the shoes? I'm sure they can do better than that by saying buy 1 PAIR and free 1 PAIR. Or perhaps, maybe the shopkeeper really meant it? n_n
