6.30am: Woke up with a dizzy head. The world is spinning, but how could I miss such a day? Another typical day of a medical student.
Jalan Pahang heading towards Bulatan Pahang
7.25am: Depart from house. The voice of MixFM deejays are filling the car occasionally along with the music just for the kickstart.
KLCC view
7.45am: Reached Chow Kit area. Looked around as the city is filled with people buzzing around, going for work. Cross the road right under the 'No jaywalking' sign. Such typical of an illiterate medical student who had forgotten how to read basic English.
GHKL
Dental Polyclinic
7.50am: Passed through many areas, even the UKM dental polyclinic. Wonder when will I see the dentist? I had a tooth abscess, but still made no effort to make an appointment. Self-containing the infection with my 'own' procedure. Sigh, maybe that's why I'd never be a dentist. I can't even take good care of my own teeth.
The exam hall on the right. Just one floor hanging on the air. Call it the "Hanging Exam Hall", the 7 wonders.. n_n"
Mugging for 'Medicine and Society' mini test outside the lab
Monkey see, monkey does. Everyone reading in T1BE hall.
7.55am: Reached T1BE hall. The labs weren't opened yet, so those freaking medical students are waiting outside, most of them mugging for the day's Medicine and Society Minitest. Me? I'd given up. Who cares. Not really me.
The OMR paper
8.15am: The OMR paper is in front of me. Time for me to start. Good Luck. I will definitely need it.
8.45am: Discussion starts. Got 12 out of 20. Not bad, at least still pass. The ambiguity causes multiple mistakes. Own mistakes? Maybe just 2 or 3. But doesn't really matter, not much marks there.
9.30am: In T1BE hall flipping through PBL notes. Preparing for presentation later. At least should be well prepared. But, considering this is the second last PBL for the semester, I wonder who will be my next PBL mates for next semester. Just when I could settle down with my current PBL mates.. Dang!
10.30am: PBL starts. Not much things to discuss. An intertrochanteric fracture, going through the anatomy of the hip joints along with causes of hip pain. Investigation, examination, and management comes later. Other than that, it is quite uneventful. Finish around 12pm, quite early for a typical 2 hour PBL session.
12.30pm: Heading home. It's hot inside the car. The dysfunctional air-cond will need service very soon. But I had always been procrastinating. What to do?
Maggie Mee on bacon on egg? -.-"
Final product - Smile of the Sun
2.00pm: Finish preparing a 20-mins lunch. What a typical Maggi mee ugliness of a guy. As long as it's edible. That is what I care the most.
2.30pm: Starts to blog on the computer, relating today's uneventful events. Still have to revise on previous lectures. Can't believe I have gone through so much in this module. Chill. Tomorrow's PC Fair. Perhaps, I will take the day off. Perhaps....
Arrggh.. That's all for now, my mind is real blank. God bless me...
Just got results of the module assessment for last module
Had to form a PPD group cheer with group 8.
1. Been buying a few Sony-Ericsson HPM-70 earphones, genuine and OEM. My obsession is going to go out of hand if I don't control it and there's e-bay to help me. Think I'm going to sell it off if anybody wants.
2. Helped Calvin Woon buy some medical books and printer cartridges. Even send it by air to him for his gf and friends. It's RM1k+, so let's just hope the postage will be fine because I haven't receive any payment. Better not play play, if I die sure bring them with me. Muahaha...
3. Too much things to study for this 4 and half weeks' module. Covering Upper Limb, Lower Limb, Muscles of the Back, and the bones. Otherwise it wouldn't be called "Musculoskeletal" module. This weekend is to complete Lower Limb osteology and muscles, arches of the foot, Nerve lesion of lower limbs, Medicine and Society's lectures for next mini test, Persatuan Pelajar's notes compilation, Hubungan Etnik half a book to go. (Persatuan Pelajar and Hubungan etnik exam is due in 2 weeks time along with musculoskeletal assessment. Dang. One thing at a time. So, perhaps, I should start by going offline now. Bye....
