What's cooking??

Candle flame

And here I am, alone, in the middle of the night. I could only hear the wind gushing outside. Forgive me for the lacklustreness, for I am just a simple man. With words that could remind us of what we were when we were still kids. What is my path of destiny? What will be of me? Will I remain true to what my beliefs at this very moment? Would I be someone I'd hate so much to become? What will be the end of me? Lost in eternal blackness? Or would I be given a second chance to start all over again? All these questions remain unanswered after all these years. And yet, I am just a mere human. What I can achieve, fades with time, just like the foot prints on the beach, being washed instantly just as they are made. What could I do to etch a mark so deep in the hearts of mankind, at least, if not for the dinosaurkind or any other species that would replace mankind? Nothing. And forget about crucification. It works only once.
Sunrise signifies the birth of a new hope. Or that is what
it would seem to be. A new dusk, a new day. Light is good, dark is evil. That is what we had been made into believe all these while. But could it really be a deception? What if Dark is good and light is evil. What if evil is not evil and goodness is not goodness? Crap. Elaborate a bit more and the religious people are going to burn me alive for blasphemy. But the fact is, it is just a tool to distinguish one another. What may seem righteous to one could seem evil to the other. In the end, the world is just plain grey. No one is right, and no one is wrong. What we follow are the norms. The acceptable norms. We can't kill another humans, but is the act of slaughtering other animals deemed acceptable? And please, this is just a discussion. I'm not trying to convince anyone to be a vegan. But could it be possible that what we are trying to imply is that animals are a lower caste below us? How sure are we? Let's ponder upon this. Humans are the only creatures who would kill one another, basically not for survival. Humans are the only creatures destroying earth, threatening the existence of life. Wouldn't we be the lower caste instead. Oh animals!! Eat us instead!! I'm just kidding. Again, I'm not trying to goad anyone into being an environmentalist.
Even here, I could discuss about the 'righteousness'
of human. Is Saddam's dictatorship a bad example? Giving the fact that he's handling a group of rogues and barbarian-like people, could he be more appropriate, other than using force against force. At least, he managed to maintain the stability although you can say that it's a fake one. And here we can see the US trying to restore 'stability', having their gluteus maximus all screwed up, causing more panic and disturbances. And on an unrelated discussion, was communism that bad afterall? China managed to hold itself together and prosper as it is today, without foreign intervention. Had China been practising democracy right from the start, we could see China as a 2nd Russia, being poverty-striken as it is now.
So, the point is, everything is not clear-cut as we
were taught from young. In fact, nothing is. What we need to do is to step into anothe pair of shoes, and think from another perspective. But then again, we are just humans. If we are able to empathise, there wouldn't be any Crusades. We are lowly creatures lower than animals. We could only think of ourselves, struggling for the show of power. And yet, we could only ponder upon why men are blind or women are deaf. Perhaps, when mankind is more noble than other creatures, that is when pigs can fly or cats can swim.

Home Alone

Well, that sums it. Another vacation at home. Woke up at 5.30am so that I could greet my parents a safe trip. While they are enjoying the best "Siu Long Pau" in Shang Hai, here I am fasting to gain a not so ideal body weight. Went to TARC this morning, catching up with some lecturers. Mr Lee Huong Sing had left TARC due to a sudden "retirement". Wonder what shit he had done. Hooray anyway. Mdm Khoo, my Maths T1 lecturer is going to retire this thursday. Sob.. Guess there's going to be more and more lecturers retiring. And this year's STPM intake is very low, amounting to around 100 students for Science, I heard. At my time, it was 200+. Let's just hope there's more attention for the students. My secondary school juniors are going to enter TARC STPM too. Too many of them compared to my time. Yip, Sita, Elaine, Jun Yew, nicholas and many more. Perhaps there's around 10 of them, most of them in 8S2A (Scholarship class) while a few in 8S1A. Wish them luck and enjoying their time there. Hehe..

. So, what have I done lately? DOTA!!! Been serving as a super noob, getting slaughtered every now and then. But at least I start to be able to kill heroes in BlueServer, and my score is not always the lowest. n_n" Or maybe it's because there are more noobs in BS. Guess I'll never know, cos I always join the newbies game and not the pro. Scare later they blame me for feeding the enemy fat fat. Lolz..

. Results are going to be out soon. Wondering whether I have to resit or not. Hmmph... Feel like changing course without doubt. Sien..Everyday like that will make me a worse person than ever. Perhaps that's why they say this course is dehumanizing. By the way, am I a human? Let's proceed to the next topic then. this is getting far too boring. Wish I could take some cadaver pics and post it here.

. The next topic is....no topic. Running out of steam of writing. Just let me relax and enjoy this 1 week. Until then, don't bother to visit my blog cos it's gonna be empty!!

BYE!!!

Self- Reflection for the '06/'07 Session

Self-reflection is something I always do every morning
and every night without fail. Yes. To look at that handsome face in the mirror. Wonder in awe how such a masterpiece lives in me. Is this what they call self-reflection? I guess so... Because you can't deny that it is a reflection of my self. So, have I choke you? I must be great to be able to do that. Then only will I be able to treat hematemesis(vomiting blood) from u guys.

Enough with the ice-breaker. Guess I should proceed
with the main topic. What have I done for my first year in UKM Medic 1st year?

1) Becoming a first year Medical Student (MS)

2) Seing so many foreigners in my home state, some who always claim that their homeplace is the best, not realising that it's just because they got used to it. But I guess that made up for their shallow knowledge and experience. I may not be that good either, but I am merely an observer to comment what happened generally.

3) Being able to lose so many things in one year from handphone; MP4 player; a bag with 3 Pharmacology books, pencil case with loads of stationery, car keys and house keys; 2 1GB minifun thumbdrive; name tag; lab keys; 3 Pilot shaker mechanical pencils worth around RM8 each; and many tiny little things.

4) Went to EAMSC (East Asia Medical Student Conference) in Taiwan. Man, that was really an unforgetable experience. I rather go more on such conference trips or free and easy than following those travel and tours trip. Those are money-making trips for people to claim that they have been to a certain country without the need to actually know the country. As a matter of fact, my parents will be going to China tomorrow without me. So, I'll be home alone for a week. Weeee....

5) Managed to play chess in UKM, getting a Silver in the team event. My skill was rusty for 3 years and there's a Silver for it? That is so much sweeter, since I'd never done well well in a team event. Not really that I lost my matches, just that I don't have regular teamates every year in secondary school.

6) Became the inaugural Flirt King in UKM 1st year medical student. I also got a job as the Head of Dept of Flirtology in Faculty of Paktorlogy, UKM.

7) Acted and directed many sketches for Personal and Professional Development assignments. Guess we should be given a double degree of Medicine and Mass Comm.

8) Gotten so many B's in my studies. Ironic, but it actually resembles my true ability. Glad for that.

9) First time staying up late at night for exam. It was for the end sem OSPE where I'd to digest all 4 modules' practicals in about 7 hours time. There was a PPD exam the day beofre till 4pm, so started on full gear at 8pm. That was also the first time I'd mixed 3 tablespoon of Nescafe into my drink to spike it. I also took an antihistamine(Clarinase) not for its effect, but the Pseudoephedrine (nasal vessel constrictor) for its neurostimulating effect. Great, now I'm doing drugs.

10) Gotten 3 parking tickets from DBKL, because they were too poor. Up to this day, the DBKL people has greatly improved. They can finish 100 metres of summonse within 5 minutes, and their handwritings are much better than mine. Lolz..

11) Became the group leader(more of an office boy) for PBL 18 in first semester. It's still the best PBL group, although it may not be as dynamic as my second PBL group 5.

12) Touching prosected cadaver with bare hands without hesitating. OSPE provide no gloves, and the cloth beside the table make it hard to 'feel' if you want to use it. Spongy arteries, collapsing veins, solid nerve cords, etc.

13) Found out that my brain cells are log-killed from the start of the exam till the end of it. Casualties were from log 2 on the 1st day to log 16 on the last. The creative side of my brain is dying as well, if it has not been degenerating due to atrophy.

14) Found out that I have great story-telling ability which I practised in my essay during exams.

Ouch, by the end of this, my head aches. Can't use too much
recalling. they say the path is clear when you make a step. But I am much more confused than before. I ought to gslog hard, but for no apparent reason? I might as well heading for doom.

*The End*

Another Bunny Post

Basically, this has been my second costume. A disaster
because I was trying to be lazy. In the end, I worked more because of the repair stitches I had to do. So, tears would drop looking at this 'slavepiece'. Haiz.. I am totally speechless. Let my photos of it do the talking.

If the previous one could get an A for my stitching standards (B+ for my evaluation), this would get a C+. Guess I'll take a break when my patience is back so that I could give in more effort.

Project Bunny

Hello, baby!! Bunny's back. It's been a hobby project for some time now. So I'll show the progress so far. Not perfect, but at least it's still plausible.

How bout some jacuzzi?

The first step is to get the bunny to bath. This was done last week and being hanged upside down for a few days because I'd forgotten about him. Sorry!! Secondly, it's pre-clothes time. Time to sharpen the rusty needle...

A clean underwear. What do you expect?

The underside of the underwear. It's not a sarong like I'd made few years back.

Decoration of the undies. Many many loves.. Just like one of my undies.

Muahaha..Jz kidding, don't look so surprised.

And time for the first official project completed:

DR BUNNY!!!

Lateral view of Dr Bunny in white coat. Observe the side 'parting' of the white coat just like the real thingie.

Anterior view of Dr Bunny. He looks way cooler than I'd imagined in a white coat.

Closer view. A button and 3 functional pockets (not dummies)

Dr Bunny in a modelling shootout. COOL!!!

In conclusion, Yee Ming is a whacky person. Stay away from him if possible. *End of Story*

P.S: But then, give a clap for such a nice art work. n_n"

Black is coffee!!

Hey guys, I'm back here!! This is one special post actually.
Dedicated to my TARC junior (perhaps ex-jr?) also a.k.a Science and Maths Society Secretary --> Yvonne!! Was planning to go back home from Times Square when I decided to drop by Maluri Jusco. (Okay, different way, but trust me, I'm more used to the road from Times Square to Cheras than to my own home *wink*) It was around 3.15pm, tea-time I supposed.. Jeng jeng..here's the pic which she's gonna KILL me for posting it here. Somebody, STOP me!! Hehe.. (P.S. You're the one complaining the lack of pics here, so I figured to put your photos here n_n")

Welcome to Starbucks!!
(A bit blur pic cos was trying to take a quick shot)

Attending a customer --> Expert Yvonne on the move!!

In fact, she made a Banana Javachips Frappucino Blended
Coffee just for me F.O.C.! How often would I get them. Feel malu la, wanna pay but she's the cashier, can't force a cashier, later people think I'm robbing!! Promise to belanja you next time k!! Anyway, just a bit of comment, the JFBC abbrv looked more like JBFC(Johor Bharu Football Club) to me..n_n"

Specially blended from Yvonne in cute green uniform!!

There's a 'YM' on top. See it?

See the light on top of her head? Don't be surprised, she's got a halo!!

Angelic!! n_n"

Then they had a coffee tasting session. Well, the coffee tasted
like... coffee. The first step in tasting is to smell it with a hand clasping 3 quarter of the mouth of the cup, like something you would do while sniffing durian. n_n" Then slurp it so you could distribute it evenly on the tongue? Seriously, I thought there was problem with my tongue when I only tasted the bitterness at the middle back of the tongue (Posterior-medially), cos usually I'll taste bitterness everywhere whenever I'm having bittergourd soup. Haha... By the way, let me try to recall what I heard. It's a Caffe Verona, 80% Yukon Blend, 20% Italian Roast, a romantic coffee usually for Valentine's Day, goes better with chocolate cookies or caramel. Personally, I think it goes good with anything chocolate! Tasted better than the usual Mocha I would have ordered. Otherwise, it would be bitter like a typical coffee (means biasa aje la...like Yvonne said.. hehe), perhaps with a slight blend of unique taste. Maybe that's why this coffee is so 'romantic'. Love is like coffee. It keeps you awake. It keeps you motivated. It's bitter, yet everyone loves it. Before you try it, you won't crave for it. The more you have it, the more you're addicted. Even when it's gone, the taste still lingers around, until you find another replacement. And lastly, without it, u'll die, with it, u'll also slowly die.. Lol...
Had some chat there, and seems like she's really
having fun there. She IS having FUN actually. Seem a long time haven't see her. But then, she's still the same fantastic and jovial person. Or I haven't seen the other side? Hehe... Oh yeah, sorry if ter'kacaui'ng you cos made you break 'overtime'. -.-" All the best, Perhaps we shall meet another time soon.
P.S. Oh ya, the Banana JFBC tastes fantastic. With that amount of coffee and banana, I feel like monkeying around all night long!! *wink*
