My One Vote Does Counts Afterall.
With the recent election results out, my Parliament area has been won by Wee Choo Keong by a majority of 150 votes. With such a small margin of victory, it made me felt guilty for not being able to vote. If, and only if, I really did my part along with perhaps 150 more people like me, we could overturn the results. *Sigh*
But then again, even if we had voted for BN, it was a vote for Dato' Seri Ong Ka Ting for his part in MCA, which could not be denied. The ex-MP, YB Yew Teong Look does not deserve this place since he never worked for the people. His only manifesto for Wangsa Maju was: "New Chinese Primary School is coming soon!" What a racist, as if there's only Chinese voters in my area. And everyone knows these are all the efforts of Dato' Seri Ong Ka Ting, not him. And our current PM wasn't that likeable as before, with his "soft" approach that can't even get rid of pests.
With this, I'll have to congratulate Wee Choo Keong for winning the Parliament seat in Wangsa Maju. The people has spoken, and may you appreciate this second chance since your "exile" from Bukit Bintang for your past deeds. Learn wisely from your past mistakes, and build a better future. Who knows, if you have done a good job, your victory margin may be bigger. All the best, and do not forget the people who vote for you. They can carry you up to the sky, and they can also throw you down from the skies.
And that is the message to Pak Lah from most Malaysians after all.
